July 11--leaving Dubai (July 10) and reaching Karachi (very early on July 11)

 We left Dubai right before midnight on July 10, and reached Karachi slightly after midnight (July 11).

It being the monsoon season, it was raining in Karachi.  The City does not have a storm drain system.  Even parts of the main thoroughfare Shahrah e Faisal get flooded.  Summer is also the season of mangoes and that's the only reason why any sane person should visit Pakistan in summer.
